My name is Bonnie Jean, I grew up raising Labrador Retrievers with my family and fell in love with them at a young age. From sleeping on the floor with a litter of puppies to working with them in the field, my passion for dogs and training continues to grow. I knew from a young age that I wanted to work with animals, particularly dogs. About a year before graduating college, everything fell into place and I knew I wanted to own a dog kennel and train Labrador Retrievers.
My family has a tradition of holding multiple dove shoots annually. We have done this as far back as I can remember. And not to brag, but I have always had the best retrievers in the field to fetch our birds. We receive many compliments on them so I imagine some of the shooters may be interested in my selection when dove season circles back around. Many Labradors from my kennel are used for service dogs, companion dogs, and hunting dogs. Not only will your dog from the Southern Labradory be great in the field, he/she will be a great companion and family dog in the home.
